1. Post 9/11: Moving Trauma Out of the Mind/Body
==================================================
Traumatic stress reactions are common in people who experience orwitness horrible events in which their lives or others lives werethreatened or destroyed. To some extent, that may include all ofus around the globe who witnessed on TV the tragic events of9/11.Psychological counseling is highly recommended for those greatlyaffected by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. But what about thebystanders, the distant witnesses who truly felt the impact butwere not directly affected?There are many holistic modalities available now to help releasetraumas from the mind that have manifested in the body. Some ofthese modalities, including bodywork such as rolfing,psychological techniques such as EFT (Emotional FreedomTechnique), energy work such as Healing Touch and Reiki, and eventhe therapeutic use of essential oils can help address badmemories that have manifested in the body.The following experts have written on releasing negative memoriesand emotions with the use of therapeutic oils:Dr. Carolyn Mein - "Releasing Emotional Patterns with EssentialOils"David Stewart Ph.D.,D.N.M. -"The Chemistry of Essential Oils MadeSimple: God's Love Manifest in Molecules"Karol Truman - "Feelings Buried Alive"Linda L. Smith - "Healing Oils, Healing Hands"Gary Young, founder of Young Living Essential Oils, in hisadvanced classes on use of therapeutic oils, teaches that certainoils can clean, deprogram, and even reprogram information at thelevel of the DNA.According to Gary Young the following categories of essentialoils and these particular oils listed can be effective inaddressing traumas in the body. It is recommended that furthercourse study or reading any of the above books be used forinstruction on how to approach the use of oils to remove negativememories:Phenylpropanoids clean receptor sites on the cells--Oregano--Thyme--Cassia--Cinnamon--Clove--Basil--PeppermintSesquiterpenes - can deprogram miswritten codes in DNA--Vetiver--Sandalwood--Cedarwood--Spikenard--Black Pepper--Myrhh--Patchouli--GingerMonoterpenes - can reprogram DNA--Galbanum--Hyssop--Rose of Sharon--Juniper--Spruce--Pine--Cypress--MyrtleThe Biblical Oils are very effective in all of these categories.To find out where you can learn more about healing the mind,body, and spirit with therapeutic essential oils and hands onhealing go to: http://www.htspiritualministry.comTo order essential oils contact your Young Living distributor orgo to http://tinyurl.com/aenfp

2. Are Your Air Fresheners Killing You?
=======================================
Air fresheners can be very toxic and harmful to lungs.It's rare we have the ability to read the ingredients inall that we are smelling, especially in public places. But Idon't have to know the ingredients. My nose and body tell me whensomething's toxic. I feel it in my head and stomach.The main toxin in room fresheners, urinal cakes, moth balls andcertain things like paints ,cleaning products, and vehicleexhaust fumes is 1,4 dichlorobenzene (1,4 DCB).A recent National Institute of Environmental Health Services(NIEHS) study published in Environmental Health Perspectivesshowed that among 953 adults 1,4 DCB was linked to a reductionin lung function.Check your household products to see if they contain 1,4 DCB andsee the tip below on how to freshen your air organically.

4. Essential Oil Tip: Freshen Air Organically
==============================================
Using therapeutic grade essential oils in your environment is asure way to add oxygen and cut down on overgrowth of unwantedmicrobes such as fungus and pathogenic viruses and bacteria.A great way to freshen your air is by cold air diffusion oftherapeutic essential oils.A cold air diffuser nebulizes the essential oil and creates alight mist and allows it to permeate your room(s). Only cool airis used. Never use heat - such as a candle or a light bulb - onyour therapeutic oils. Heat destroys the therapeutic qualitiesof the essential oil.Some suggestions for oils to use in diffusion are: Orange,Lemon, Peppermint, Purification (specific to Young Living brand).Put your diffuser on a light timer in your home, office, gym,yoga studio, or wherever you want to freshen the air andenvironment.To order a diffuser and essential oils contact your Young Livingdistributor or by go to http://tinyurl.com/aenfp

5. Success Tip

If you admire successful people, youcreate a positive force field of attraction that draws you towardbecoming more and more like the kinds of people that you want tobe like."Brian Tracy
