1. What Does Twitter Have to do with Health Care?

I can read your mind right now.

You're thinking something like ~

"What on earth is she talking about?" ...
...for one of these following reasons:

--You NEVER heard of this silly 'Twitter' word and don't know
what it means

--You HAVE heard about Twitter on TV and in the newspapers but
have no idea what it is

--You've heard your kids or grand kids talk about twittering but
never thought you would see it mentioned in an online ezine
that YOU subscribe to

--You DO know about Twitter but have no clue how it connects
to health care

--No matter what I wrote for the title article you ALWAYS
wonder what I'm saying (ha ha - I just had to throw that in)

Now, I happen to know about Twitter because I'm very involved
in online and internet marketing and social networking, and I
actually Twitter at least four times a day.

I'm following several hundred people on Twitter and I have
several hundred people following me (you can follow me on
Twitter too. . . http://twitter.com/homespalady )

And despite that I'm still pretty amazed at what I learned today
which I am about to share with you regarding Twittering and
healthcare.

When I read this and saw this video it confirmed for me that this
'Twitter thing' is not a passing internet fancy. It's providing
immediate health updates and education.

What you are about to see here in this video clip from CNN are
surgeons in the operating room twittering on the surgery
that is taking place.

It is also affirming that I am on the right track with
teaching Internet Marketing to Health Care Professionals and
Practitioners (Twitter is part of this teaching).

This is the third year that I have been offering this course.

It is very popular and is becoming more so, now that:
--there is much more awareness about the internet
--these programs are so easy to do
--the economy is lousy and people want to learn ways to
make money with the internet

People love this course for many reasons:

--No travel necessary (the course is taught in a live teleseminar
format that you can take from your home)

--All classes are recorded for people who can't make the dates

--The first communications about the recent plane crash
tragedies came from someone who Twittered.

--Lance Armstrong will be Twittering from the Tour De
France.

--I heard even the Dalai Lama is twittering! (but then
I also heard that may not be true)

2. Essential Oil Tip: Abundance Aftershave

Carole A. Brown made this recipe for
her hubby.

She states that since he has been using
this he is making three times more the
amount of money than when he first started.

Ingredients:

50% Brandy (Korbel Brand)
50% Distilled Water
Several drops of Abundance Essential Oil Blend
Put in spray bottle for use after shaving

4. Recipe of the Week: Mango Man's Sauteed Greens
======================================================

Thank you Mango Man!

INGREDIENTS

· 2 large bunches of either Collard Greens or Kale
· 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
· 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
· Few pinches red pepper flakes
· 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt (or Sea Kelp)
· 4 ounces of Raw Unsalted Cashews
RECIPE

Rinse greens well. Remove the leaves from stems and get rid of
the stems. Coarsely chop.

Heat a large skillet over high heat. Cook garlic and pepper
flakes in the Olive Oil for about 2-3 minutes, then add greens, a
few handfuls at a time, stirring in between.

Stir in the Sea Salt or Kelp. Cover. Cook until just tender, 2-10
minutes, depending on the type of greens and your preference.

Now put this in a large bowl and sprinkle ground up Cashews over
the top of it. Not only is it a thing of beauty but it's
incredibly delicious.
