1. Dreams Can Help You
========================

Dreams have a long history of being recorded
and used as tools to help us live our lives.

Dreams have been described as messages
from our subconscious or as messages from
the Divine or prophecies of the future.

Because dreams were thought to be messages,
many cultures have sought to stimulate dreams
in order to use them.

The most common way to stimulate dreaming is
by the use of herbs or essential oils in teas or
in pillows, and for some by the use of crystals.

Dream pillows contain dried herbs and are placed
under your pillow to promote restful sleep as well
as stimulate dreams.

You can also use essentail oils to sprinkle on your
pillowcase before you go to bed - or to rub on your body.

Lavender and chamomile will promote sleep. A good oil for
insomnia (that is much stronger smelling) is vetiver - rubbed
on your feet before you go to bed.

Lemon balm (Melissa) will make dreams more vivid.

Rosemary will help you remember your dreams.

Other good oils to use are jasmine or sandalwood or frankincense
oil. You can mix and match any of these until you find the
perfect blend that helps you dream, or you can use a blend
already made for this - Dream Catcher (see below).

Drinking teas made from rosemary, basil or chamomile
before bed are noted to help dispel nightmares. Using the
essential oils are just as effective (or more!).

Any of these herbs can be used in essential oil form in a
bath or massage oil before bedtime, or try a few drops of a
special sleep oil blend on your pillow.
(See my essential tip in this newsletter.)

Are you dreaming?

And are you living your dreams?

Would you like to learn how to re-ignite your dream for your
life? Especially if you are in the second half of your life?

I interviewed the author of the forthcoming book "Second Chance
at Your Dream" this past week for the Home Spa Lady community.

Dorothea Hover-Kramer, also the author of the Healing Touch text
book, is a leader in Energy Psychology and her new work is on how
to use the body's energies to create your dreams!

This interview is availiable to you until September 25th, and you

2. Essential Oil Tip: Dream Catcher
====================================

"Dream Catcher" is an exotic formula designed to enhance the
process of dreaming and visualization.

The ability to hold onto your dreams - positive dreams that move
you forward emotionally and spiritually - can lead to a greater
ability to realize your desires and stay on the path of
fulfillment.

Dream Catcher also protects against negative dreams that may
cloud your vision.

Here are the ingredients in this fabulous blend from Young
Living:

Sandalwood
Tangerine
Ylang ylang
Black pepper
Piper nigrum
Bergamot
Juniper
Anise
Blue tansy

Here is a video on one easy way to use Dream Catcher. . .

5. HSL's Joke or Cute Quote of the Week
=========================================

A Young Person's Dream

During a quarrel with his parents, the teenager
announced, "I want excitement, adventure, money,
and beautiful people, and to travel the world!

I`ll never find it here at home, so I`m leaving.
And don`t try to stop me!"

As he headed for the door, his father followed him.
"Didn`t you hear me? Don`t try to stop me!"

"Stop you?" said his father, "I'm joining you!"
