1. Margarine ~ One Molecule Away From Plastic
----------------------------------------------
There are fats that can kill us and fats that can heal us. Wouldn't it be good to know which is which?

For decades people have been eating margarine thinking that it was much better for health than butter. I remember when I was a nurse working in the Intensive Care Unit. Our cardiac patients were always given margarine instead of butter because it "is better for your heart and cholesterol levels". I haven't been around a hospital or cardiology practices for awhile (thank goodness!) but I imagine that is still a common belief and practice.

It's time to set the record straight, and there is no better person to do that than the world's leading authority on fats. Dr. Udo Erasmus, author of "Fats that Heal, Fats that Kill" tells us which fats and oils to eat with our health in mind. He encourages us to avoid synthetic molecules in our foods. But then he also tell us that one tablespoon of regular cooking oil bought from a supermarket has 60 trillion unnatural molecules. So what are the best oils and fats to eat?

I use butter in my diet, and I cook with coconut oil and olive oil. I take fish oils and flax. I want to know if what Udo thinks about that.

Do you want to know if your fat intake is healthy?

This coming Friday, April 20th, Udo will answer these questions, and more, in a "Green Tea with Marilee" teleseminar interview. You can join us for the entire 70 plus minutes we will be together, and you can ask him your own personal questions at the end of the interview.

Here are some of the things he will be covering as it is related to the "good fat/bad fat" issue: How (and which) good fats can:

--Provide more energy and stamina
--Improve sleep
--Balance mood
--Balance hormones
--Decrease body fat
--Soften skin
--Improve concentration
--Decrease cardiovascular risk problems

2.Flaxseeds As Natural Remedy for Eczema
=========================================
By Evelyn Lim
You may wish to consider including flaxseeds in your diet as an eczema natural remedy. Flaxseeds contain essential fatty acids like Omega 3, Omega 6 and alpha linolenic acid that can add and retain skin moisture and suppleness to your skin. These nutrients are great for skin that is especially prone to dryness and inflammation. Hence, they would highly benefit eczema skin conditions.

If you have been trying to deal with your eczema for quite sometime now, you may have tried numerous lotions and even medicines that are recommended by your physician. Most medicines have side effects. Taking them on a long term basis and becoming reliant on them is not recommended. Instead,healing yourself from the inside in terms of good nutrition issomething worth pursuing since this can hardly bring any adverse reactions.

It is not hard to imagine that if your body lacks certain essential vitamins and nutrients for good skin, you are likely to experience symptoms like acne or eczema. The most active ingredient of flaxseed is the presence of Omega3. This eczema natural remedy comprises of 1/3 oil. The other 2/3 parts include protein, fiber, lignans and mucilage. Fiber and mucilage are responsible for cleaning your colon of any toxic materials and body wastes while protein can give your body the sufficient amount of amino acid it needs.

Lignans is one of the potent ingredients, with anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties that can help fight off bad bacteria, often known to worsen eczema. You can buy various forms of flaxseeds at your local health store. They come as flax seeds or flaxseed oil. If you opt to consume flax seeds, grind them before eating or adding them to your food. If you do not grind them, your body will find it hard to absorb them.

You can also consume flaxseed oil as it is or add it to your drink. If you think that you cannot regularly add natural source of essential fatty acid into your daily diet, you might as well use flaxseed oil supplements to give your body the sufficient amount of Omega 3, Omega 6 and other essential fatty acids that it needs.
Simply take two capsules of flaxseed oil supplementsper day. As an eczema natural remedy, you really want to consume what is of high quality for healthy skin. This may mean that you may have to pay more for good supplies.

An eczema sufferer for several years, Evelyn Lim now writes reviews on eczema natural remedies and skin care products. Find out how she recently got herself treated in her newsletter here at www.eczematreatmentsecrets.com

3. Essential Oil Tip: Beat the Flu
====================================
In our household Thyme oil is a "big gun" for the flu. Diffusing thyme oil is helpful when the flu is spreading through the family, but the smell can be strong. A good way to minimize the effects of this strong smell is to bake a chicken with the herbs thyme and rosemary at the same time!
